They are battery operated toy hamsters. There are four of them and their names are: Nums Nums, Chunk, Mr Squiggles and Pipsqueek. All four of these toy pet hamsters can be bought separately. There is also another fifth Zhu Zhu Pet Hamster named Patches. Patches, however can only be attained if you purchase the Zhu Zhu Hamster Funhouse accessory that it comes bundled with.
Each toy hamster is a different color with different personalities and different little sounds that it makes. And you kids will know the color of each one.
Of all the Zhu Zhu Pet Hamsters the most popular and best selling one is the fuzzy Mr Squiggles. His light brown color makes this toy hamster look the closest to a real hamster. That, plus his cute little black eyes may be the reason the children like him so much.
